Sales Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

Responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market, in line with the division strategy. Achieves both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Responsible to identify and develop new sales opportunities.This role requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of sales processes, client relationship management, and the ability to drive sales growth and meet revenue targets.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES•\tSells products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.•\tEstablishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promotes their understanding of ABB’s complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligns with them to provide a solution.•\tLeads the OEM growth initiatives in the Eastern Canadian region•\tEnsures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process•\tPrepares sales plans using ABB authorized tools•\tWorks closely with segment managers, marketing, and the regional manager to execute the regional sales strategy•\tCreates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques•\tCommunicates to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy•\tEnsures efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers•\tIdentifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market•\tManages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed•\tCoaches and mentors sales team members and onboard new employees.•\tanalyzing sales data and trends, identifying new business opportunities, and building and maintaining relationships with clients•\tEnsures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and trading conditions.

Qualifications for the role

You are highly skilled in channel management and customer relations to excel in sales in the OEM and loose components market.Ability to demonstrate that you have established sales skills the OEM market.Possess some knowledge of Salesforce.You are passionate about growing your sales portfolio and maintaining relationships.Have a demonstrated track record in building long lasting relationships with customers.You need to speak and write English and French fluently. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis. You hold current valid Canadian drivers license.
