Order Handling Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

The Sales Support Specialist will create, and complete bids/estimations/quotations based on customer specification or customer requirements/budget in order to achieve market competitiveness for ABB cable accessories and apparatus products within ELIP, Canada.•\tProvide product solutions, technical support, and competitor cross references.•\tEnsure timely and accurate creation of tender documents through coordination with relevant stakeholders.•\tIssue responses to request for information/request for quote requests from customers.•\tCreate and follow up on engineering feasibility/special requests for custom or made-to-order configurations ofproducts.•\tPrepare proposals in response to customer request for price.•\tContribute to an effective and positive customer relationship throughout the sales process.•\tCreate, maintain, and follow up on cases in Salesforce.•\tExamine and report on the results of tenders and identify areas for improvement to increase success.•\tOther tasks as required by Sales Support manager(s).

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.Strong knowledge of low & medium voltage electrical products.Knowledge of Salesforce, SAP, & ERP Platforms (an asset).Experience in work with Office 365 and Excel.Demonstrate a high level of initiative, and the ability to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously with a collaborative, solution-focused and detail-oriented approach.Proficient in SAP, Salesforce.com, Excel, and Office 365 (MS Teams, PowerPoint).Relationship BuildingKnowledge of the sales cycleExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
