Your role and responsibilitiesThe Sales Specialist, Electrification Installation Products reports to the District Sales Manager. Ontario territory responsibilities are London, Chatham, Windsor, Sarnia and surrounding. This position is accountable for the revenue performance of the Electrification Installation Products (ELIP) – Industrial & Commercial - business. Role requires collaborative implementation of programs and processes to maximize sales margin and revenue in alignment of the Company's business plan. Individual will be responsible for evaluating business opportunities which directly impact the territories business.The Sales Specialist, Electrification Products is accountable to:•\tServe as the direct point-of-contact for all channel and end-user customers in the respective territory.•\tMeet or exceed the Integration Commercial Business Plan, as defined by management, and its associated financial KPIs.•\tIdentify new and existing market participation through the go-to-market strategy as defined by management.•\tIn collaboration with price management, evaluates price/volume tradeoffs through tactical review and approval/disapproval of potential business opportunities.•\tProvides updates to senior management on recommended courses of action on business opportunities.•\tCoordinates activities within the district sales team and management to maximize efficiencies and opportunities within the respective territory.•\tParticipates with other sales team members on sales presentations, negotiation meetings and customer visits.•\tProvides feedback on market changes and trends that could impact future strategies with marketing, product and management team members.•\tIdentifies opportunities for other divisions within the ABB group and collaborates with corresponding team members to provide a One ABB solution. •\tExecutes the implementation of programs and processes to maximize margin and revenue volume in support of the company’s business plan.
Qualifications for the role2 to 5 years of Sales and/or Marketing Experience.Minimum of 2 Years of experience in B2B Type Business Model.Familiar with electrical industry and historical Go To Market strategies (preferred).Successful completion of a Business Degree is an asset.
