Our client a premium retail brand company is searching for a Sales Representative for the Pretoria area The ideal candidate would be one with proven on the road sales experience with a premium brand The role requires the individual to spend long hours spent on the road

Overview
To deliver the sales growth and targets for the region that is under pinned by the business strategy through ensuring that the customer is at the heart of everything we do that all selling and operational initiatives and processes are effectively coordinated and implemented in a sustainable way and showing ownership and accountability for the business
Sales executives will work to find new sales leads through business directories client referrals

Key Deliverables
Provide input into the development and delivery of the company strategy
Maintain and Grow Sales within existing customers
Construct and implement a sales plan and call cycle for Key Wholesale Corporate Corporate Gift and eCommerce clients

Deliver against the divisions signed off operating plan and sales targets
Monitor and maintain customers to ensure consistent delivery of business within targets
Grow business area to satisfy and expand customer base
Ensure that customers are informed of products other than their usual purchases
Selling products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers
Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
Analysing regional opportunity and develop action plans targeted to achieve regional and business objectives
Coordinate and enable consistent and effective implementation of all selling promotional and operational initiatives across the Sales Division
Ensure the delivery of a consistent customer Client and Shopper experience in line with the agreed service levels
Constantly seek opportunities to increase sales and maximize returns for clients stores with optimum stock levels to support
Ensure all operating processes are effectively implemented and maintained to sustain profitability protect the brand values and deliver effective service levels
Effectively lead change through actively embracing our desired culture and living the brand values
Liaise with all relevant internal departments to ensure accounts are serviced correctly
Deal with customer service matters
Strong focus on staff training and development and ensuring the Service Standard is delivered
Ensure the visual merchandising by store is consistent and as per the VM manual
Attend all Head Office approved networking opportunities ie Markex
Conduct Trade visits on a regular basis
Submit monthly reports to the COO/Head of Department

Departmental Operational Plan
Provide input into the development of the 1 year Business Unit Operating plan
Develop product mix plan by client taking into account customer needs trend direction competitive analysis growth/ exit of product categories determining product objectives
Conduct monthly performance analysis and develop detailed action plan to ensure regions sales targets are met and exceeded
Identify opportunities within the month to maximise sales and grow market share

Expense Management
Manage regions financial and expense budgets in line with allocated budget

Sustainability of Client Management and Calling Cycle
Provide input and present the client strategy and plans eg Sales Forecast Plans and Promotional activity by Key Wholesale Corporate Corporate Gift and eCommerce clients within the approved parameters and against agreed sales targets
Identify integrate and ensure alignment of activities and processes that support the implementation of the strategy and client calling cycle
Drive continuous improvement to the processes and critical path as these are identified
Implement sales executive call cycle and ensure consistent and integrated ways of working between all stakeholder groups and across the business
Managing the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
Unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships

Accurate and timeous reporting
Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for the COO and Head of Department for your region

Minimises Shrinkage
Reporting acts of dishonesty related to shrinkage and fraud
Understand apply and manage all processes policies and procedures
Effectively manage all processes and procedures aimed at minimising shrinkage

Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience in sales
Must have a driver&rsquos license and willingness to travel
Knowledge of Trader and Navision
Highly computer literate MS Office suite on an intermediate level

Skillset Required
Excellent selling communication and negotiation skills
Prioritizing time management and organizational skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Excellent Administrative skills and above average attention to detail
Ability to manage conflict and problem solving

Extensive retail experience and remote management
