Job Description

The Sales Representative (SR) is responsible for selling products and services in a designated area and is accountable for the profitable achievement of sales targets and revenue targets as agreed with client and company. The SR is responsible for their own sales conversion productivity, and directs their effort in order to have the greatest overall impact on results.

It is vital for the SR to possess good knowledge of standard sales methods & techniques relevant to client’s product. This person will report to the Sales Manager.

As the position is for sales driven individuals, the SR is responsible for achieving sales targets for themselves in order to increase their earning potential through commissions

Additional activities will include involvement in pre-awareness campaigns to new customers; ensuring that customers are made aware of features, benefits, competitive advantages and applications of the relevant products.

ROLE SUMMARY:

Responsibilities of this position are to achieve sales targets. The Field Sales Representative will achieve this through field activities such as door to door, field activations and acquiring referrals. It will be vital for the Field Sales Representative to possess good knowledge of standard sales methods & techniques relevant to client’s product line.

Salary:

Commission Based (up to R60 000)

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum MatricMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writingMinimum of 1 year sales experience in field sales preferably telecommunication salesMinimum of 1 year’s target driven sales experienceMust have own Smartphone that is in good working conditionEvidence of experience working independently, with little or no supervision
