Sales Representative – Building Materials (Windows & Doors)

Job Description:

A market leading Windows and Doors manufacturer are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the building materials industry, specifically focusing on windows and doors. As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in promoting our high-quality products and driving sales growth in your designated territory. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing effective solutions that align with our product offerings. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills to succeed.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:Identify and target potential customers in the residential and commercial construction sectors.Generate new leads and prospects through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other sales strategies.Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and competitive positioning.Attend trade shows, industry events, and other relevant gatherings to showcase our products and expand the customer base.Consultative Selling:Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and project requirements.Provide product demonstrations and technical expertise to guide customers in selecting the most suitable windows and doors for their projects.Present persuasive sales proposals and quotes that address customer needs and highlight the value of our products.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and foster customer loyalty.Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service at all stages of the sales process.Collaborate with our customer support and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution.Sales Targets and Reporting:Set ambitious sales targets and develop action plans to achieve and exceed them.Regularly monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to the management team.Product Knowledge and Training:Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the building materials industry, including technological advancements, competitor products, and market trends.Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements:

Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the building materials industry or related field.Familiarity with windows and doors products, their features, and installation requirements is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong rapport with customers.Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences.Ability to travel within the assigned territory as required.Proficiency in using sales management software, CRM systems, and MS Office Suite.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
