Sales Order Specialist (Temporary 12 months)

Position Overview:
This role will be the owner and driver for all Salesforce.com workflows at it relates to our field sales team. There will be daily interaction with our field sales organization helping and supporting with Salesforce.com related tasks. This position will also be charged with identifying improved workflows, effective ways to train our sales team to make them more efficient with data and analytics, and troubleshooting workflow gaps, bugs, and errors.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Proactively seek regular feedback from sales leadership and field on customer problems, priorities and opportunity areas that can be addressed with regular and consistent reporting. Field ad hoc content and support requests from the Sales team. Manage and enforce the proposal request process (contracting, quoting, etc.). Work within a variety of systems including but not limited to: Salesforce, Tableau, and QAD. Work with a broad set of key stakeholders to support and maintain innovative sales and technical sales enablement programs & systems. Consistently analyze opportunities to accelerate sales cycle through sales tools. Manage the sales enablement content repository. Assist with the preparation of reports by collecting information in coordination with sales management. Assist with CRM database maintenance (Salesforce.com) and upkeep. Develop and lead training around all things Salesforce.com related. Be the main point of contact between sales leadership and Saleforce.com development team to ensure we are running as efficiently as possible.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (5+ years in the field); an associate degree with relevant experience will also be considered. Minimum 3 years of field sales support with a focus on Saleforce.com assistance and training. Strong presentation skills / power point development. Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills. Superior oral and written communication skills. High level of organization and detail-orientation. Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative. Good attitude toward teamwork as well as the ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize / excellent time management.
