Sales & Operations Program Specialist III

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Program Specialist III is responsible for managing multiple Field-facing programs, interpreting data, identifying, and mitigating risk, and developing action plans for senior Field leadership. The position is also heavily involved in cross-departmental initiatives and program implementations. Additionally, the Specialist evaluates enterprise-wide performance trends, transforms results into operational improvements, planning, and driving organizational improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Leads the Sales and Operations Compliance and Standards Department’s business operations through strategic planning, goal setting, effective and timely communication, fiscal responsibility, continuous improvement, and performance accountability.
2. Manages the compliance training, certification, and re certification process for all field employees based on Federal, State, and Local agency requirements. Partnership with internal departments to determine certification needs and violation resolution process for improved compliance to current statutes.
3. Identifies potential risks to the business and ensures compliance standards are upheld. Completes regular audits on compliance requirements within Murphy USA platforms and updates changes based on Federal, State, and Local agency updates. Ensures adequate follow up in cases of violations takes place and provides resolutions to these violations with urgency.
4. Maintains the Company’s compliance base and document repository and serves as the subject matter expect regarding all compliance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure field employees are adhering to company guidelines.
5. Maintains the Store Organization Chart to ensure accuracy and provide timely updates as needed. Partnership with internal departments to ensure communication of updates to the organization chart to all stakeholders. This includes one on one meetings with department leaders, S&O team members, and NCC support employees. Develops a follow up process to ensure any changes to the Store Org is captured and communicated to all stakeholders with urgency.
6. Manages the Company Field Vehicle Program and business relationships with account executives and senior Home Office and Field leadership to ensure financial goals and benefits are achieved.
7. Manages the process in which company vehicles are purchased, maintained, and sold through obtaining accurate information and implementing efficient procedures to ensure the company’s capital is used responsibly, assets are protected, return on investments are actualized, and best in-class class service is provided to the department’s customers.
8. Manages the WEX Corporate Fuel Card Program and ensures cardholders are adhering to program policies and procedures to protect company from unnecessary cost increases and fraudulent activity.
9. Provides performance reports and analytics as resources for business owners and senior Field leadership to leverage the information to drive results.
10. Partners with cross-functioning departments to include IT, HR, L&D, Merch, Procurement, Accounting, and others to ensure proper procedures and accountability measures are developed and implemented which focus on store process excellence, execution, and performance improvements.
11. Utilizes the Field communication platform to provide direction and consultation to stakeholders to ensure only accurate, concise, and sequenced information and tasks are released to targeted audiences, including ensuring and supporting the Company’s Compliance goals.
12. Sets the direction on the release of various feedback and performance reporting and analytics and provides consultation to assist executives and business owners in leveraging the information and taking effective action(s).
