Purpose:

The Sales Operations Manager at adidas Golf is responsible for driving operational excellence and efficiency within the sales team. This role ensures seamless execution of sales strategies, optimizes processes, and supports the achievement of sales targets. By leveraging data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, the Sales Operations Manager enhances the overall performance and productivity of the sales organization. This position plays a critical role in aligning sales operations with the company's strategic goals, fostering a customer-centric approach, and contributing to the growth and success of adidas Golf.

 

Key Responsibilities (Functional):  

Cross Functional Management

Work with Sales, Merchandising & Finance to manage and update the Open-To-Buy forecast planning cycles that projects inventory levels aligning to our net sales & margin targets Convey monthly shipping requirements and schedules to the Distribution Center to meet monthly sales targets. Act as key demand and supply liaison with adidas Golf global teams & local BDC teams Direct Sales tool implementation including coordination with Global Sales to ensure tools are aligned with global plans and rolled out in the local market in an efficient and effective manner. Strategizes and directs key process improvements by working cross-functionally with Marketing Ops, Demand Planning, Supply chain, Finance, and other partners to increase net sales and direct channel distribution.

 

Sales, Service & Profitability

Lead the Sales, Product and Finance partners to define and develop company sales and margin targets across all channels, Key Accounts Work in close conjunction with Sales and Product Teams to achieve sales goals by providing timely sales analytics including channel analysis, forecasting and sell through data Lead the Canadian corporate partner portfolio from forecast entry through to order fulfillments. Working alongside the US sales team for a key North American partnership. Ensure accuracy and optimal efficiency when monitoring latest sales estimates vs. full year targets and assist with bonus / commission accrual reporting with finance team Assist Sales and Finance in developing and executing yearly trade investment agreements in timely fashion that drives future sales, while optimizing profitability Provide regular reporting on each trade investment agreement to ensure account compliance Pro-actively identify issues and solutions to make the business flow better for the Sales Team Manage a team of customer service representatives: all aspects of leadership including coaching, developing, training, and mentoring Responsible for various operational platforms and projects including, but not limited to: CLICK, FLUX, DWS, and SAP.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Superior analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities A systems specialist with an operational and sales mindset Excellent computer skills particularly MS Excel Strong communication skills with direct reports, but more importantly, with all key stakeholders Strong in the areas of sales, forecasting and planning, with proven cross functional experience, across Merchandising, Finance and Operations Change Agent mentality to look at all aspects of the business to overhaul and leverage Groups size and resources in Canada.

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:  

3+ years cross-functional experience in sales, merchandising/product and/or finance planning required Bachelors in related field required (Finance or Business) or equivalent experience Proven ability to lead, influence and think strategically Fluent in English (oral & written)
