Sales Operations Lead
**About the Team** At Uber, we reimagine the way the world moves for the better. There are a lot of operations and technologies that enable this mission and Uber’s GSS (Global Scaled Solutions) org leads several of those capabilities such as localization/internationalization, data annotation for AI/ML innovation, testing, map editing, digitization programs and more. We have built industry leading tech and ops muscle for the same and are now externalizing these offerings. Our goal is to establish a dedicated and highly specialized sales team, facilitating the expansion of our services to cater to both large and medium-sized enterprises. This endeavor is aimed at the company priority “Seed the Future” with incubation of a new business line within Uber. **About the Role** The Sales Operations team's mission is to be the primary support function for our Commerical teams globally. We support and enable frontline Sale teams to sell & service more efficiently and effectively by providing strategic direction and reducing friction in the Go to Market process. As Sales Operations Lead, you will help us provide visibility, direction, and strategic oversight on target setting, account prioritization, share of wallet penetration, and pipeline management to unlock more revenue for Uber! In this role you’ll have hands-on involvement with sales reporting, forecasting, sales tool optimization, account segmentation, strategy, and planning. In this role you will partner with head of growth and other senior stakeholders to drive productivity and high performance. **What You'll Do** 01. Stakeholder management: Partner closely with senior sales leaders and cross functional partners to align on strategy 02. Strategy: 03. Partner with sales leadership to set performance targets for sales teams, recommend actions for improvement and work together to integrate positive changes within the operational environment. 04. Develop and implement sales compensation plans, policy (Rules of Engagement) and programs to motivate sales team performance in alignment to GTM strategy and plan 05. Analytics: 06. Responsible for sales performance reporting and analytics by preparing data for weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews to monitor progress against goals (OKRs) and evaluate variances 07. Provide sales team with critical reporting information and sales insights 08. Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide feedback to management on trends. 09. Pipeline and Forecast: provide analytical and operational support to continuously improve our forecasting, pipeline management, and methodologies 10. Effectively communicate: find simple ways to convey insights and recommendations from sophisticated analysis results to business leaders 11. Establish and maintain effective communications with sales managers and staff. 12. Prepare sales compensation related reports and presentations for management review. **What You'll Need** 1. 5+ years of data analytics, business intelligence, sales operations, or similar experience 2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field 3. Experience working within a high-growth B2B technology company 4. Strong SQL skills (required), and knowledge of other programming languages (R, Python a plus) 5. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau 6. Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM 7. Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to distill complex data analysis into clear and useful insights **Preferred Qualifications** 1. Sales operations experience, particularly passionate about sales performance, forecasting and quota planning 2. Understanding of the overall GTM strategies and ability to think holistically about how data and analytics can support GTM efforts. 3. Ability to operate in a lean and fast-paced organization 4. Advance knowledge of sales 5.
