As part of our talent team in WB Dealer Sales - Gauteng Region the Sales Manager role is to identify new sales opportunities, oversee and monitor sales teams and ensure profitability by achieving agreed return on economic capital, non-interest revenue and new business targets, including market share and production. The incumbent leads a team and builds and maintains strategic relationships with customers / suppliers / partners.

Achievement of net profit growth for businessEstablish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiencyDeliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutionsManage existing clients and grow portfolio through making contact and generating leadsManage the growth of active customer Account Base to increase client baseMaximise Business Portfolio cross sell opportunities and strengthen client relationshipsTrack, control and influence sales activities with the specific aim to achieve previously determined sales team targets.Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects / initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progressComply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirementsTrack, control and influence sales activities with the specific aim to increase sales efficiencies of the teamResearch Market positioning and develop and optimise market intelligence, new business management, advances and management reportingPlan and execute campaigns successfully and on schedule. Set standards and benchmarks for measuring successful campaign execution.Monitor costs / benefits per campaign/channel. Maintain operational accountability for all campaign execution.Provide accurate and reliable sales statistics obtained from the Sales members and compile Sales reports and dashboardsManage own development to increase own competenciesPlan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent and culture of team in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competenciesYou will be an ideal candidate if you:
Minimum Qualification - MatricPreferred Qualification – Post Secondary Education relevant to the position and our industry is preferredExperience – 5 to 6 Years experience within the role with key understanding of Motor Sales within WesBankAdditional Requirements: Extensive travelling with the national regions required, must be comfortable navigating general geographical arearsAdditional Requirements
