We are creating the new position of Enabling Technologies Manager to support our growth in Saudi Arabia in this market. As such, you will be responsible for leading and setting the strategic direction, clearly communicating a compelling vision, setting stretch goals and expectations, collaborating with key stakeholders and ultimately delivering outstanding sales performance through significant growth in ET activity (Imaging/Navigation/Robotics)
You will manage our ET Saudi team (3 people) and ensure strong engagement with our Indirect Channel Partners. This position plays a key role in the development of cross functional business strategies, while driving performance excellence in sales for Enabling Technologies across Saudi.
What you will do:
Develop and maintain an ET growth strategy and 5-year roadmap for Saudi
Lead the strategic sales process for Enabling Technologies, setting key performance objectives in coordination with ET Marketing, Ortho Sales and Saudi Country Manager
Manage the Stryker ET Business development team, Mako Product Specialists well as the Indirect Channels Mako Product Specialists Teams, and ensure they are engaged and driven to achieve the aligned goals of Stryker Saudi
Oversee key interfaces and partner with appropriate teams (Marketing, Sales, Technical Services and Finance) in the introduction of new products & technologies
Ensure full strategic alignment with the franchise leaders, particularly JR and Spine
Provide leadership and focus to the ET business by developing an effective working relationship with Channel Partners set directions for ET Team and influencing their MPS and FSE organizations
Identify growth opportunities through market research, customer/stakeholder interviews, surveys, clinical trends, literature reviews, voice-of-customer feedback
Ensure transparency of the pipeline, including investments and returns from sales
Ensure accurate sales forecasts for both short and long term
Be commercially aware and monitor the market and gather competitive intelligence on new products, competitive strategies, industry tactics, and opportunities for business growth
Partner with divisional Marketing and R&D teams to provide direction regarding regional requirements for updates, line extensions and future products & technologies
Address ET topics impacting Saudi Market, like local RA/product release and language requirements (incl. GUI), labeling, IFU, translations etc.
Collaborate with the ET Product Manager on the development of AMPs and commercialisation plans in each geography
Develop and implement successful product introductions across the region by closely partnering with Marketing in a matrix organization
Liaise with ET commercial peers in EEMEA to share best practices and maximise synergies
Influence the P&L for Enabling Technologies
Monitor business performance against budget and take corrective actions where necessary
Support operational efficiency of the business by building relationships with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and other relevant enabling functions
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree is a minimum requirement / Masters or further education desirable
Fluent in oral and written English is essential
Minimum of 10 years in Marketing, Sales, Market Development, or a combination, including people management experience
Proven experience in the sales of capital equipments (Roobotics, Navigation, Imaging, CT Scan) within an international company
Track record of continuously delivering on financial commitments over time
Experience in developing and presenting business strategies
Experience in financial modeling and forecasting
Ability to develop effective working relationships with multi-disciplinary stakeholders required
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to deliver on multiple priorities
Strategic thinking: creating long-term plans, setting goals and defining tactics that are aligned with the overall Business and Marketing objectives
Strong oral and written communications skills
Analytical mind, solutions provider, balanced views and judgement; eagerness to learn and assimilate complexity
