Job Description

As a Sales Manager, you will guide, direct, and motivate your team to achieve sales growth and profitability targets. You will be responsible for the performance of your department, including managing important accounts and maintaining strong customer relationships. Additionally, you will ensure effective collaboration across various functional areas while fostering a cohesive and motivated workforce.
This role is preferably based in our office in Brøndby, Denmark.
**What is the job about?**
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance and profitability of the sales department. You will actively participate in sales activities, manage important accounts, and ensure key functional areas are attended to. Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers within your designated area will be essential.
**Your main responsibilities:**
+ Develop and implement annual budget and plan for assigned territory, including sales forecasts, target allocation, expense budgeting, and sales plan adjustments to achieve targets.
+ Build and maintain relationships with customers, dealers, design institutes, consulting firms, and authorities.
+ Monitor monthly account receivables, follow up on outstanding balances, and ensure timely customer payments to manage cash flow.
+ Support, motivate, challenge, and develop the team through performance management and coaching.
+ Manage important accounts and frame agreemements.
+ Participate in on-site customer visits for team coaching and motivation.
+ Implement and enforce the yearly pricing policy within the team.
+ Ensure correct utilization of pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability, cost, and collections, managing to the agreed budget (PMA).
**Your background:**
+ A Master’s Degree or equivalent in business and/or engineering, paired with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in a large international company in a similar role.
+ Demonstrated experience in leading a team and managing sales processes.
+ Proficient in executing strategic initiatives within intricate business environments, with a preference for experience in large manufacturing settings.
+ Extensive knowledge of best practices and relevant systems in the sales domain.
+ Proven track record of successfully managing teams across different countries and virtually.
