Newly Renovated 107 Hotel rooms with 2 meeting spaces , Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Brampton, seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales operation. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in working with the General Manager on all related sales activities of the hotel. As Sales Manager you will be responsible for increasing the hotel's revenue and bookings and working with clients and partners to secure reservations, contracts, and event bookings. Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and occupancy goals with the guidance of the hotel management. Responsibilities • Responsible for Corporate and Group Room Sales for the hotel. • A clear understanding of the hotel’s business strategies then set goals and determine action plans to meet those goals. • Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales. • Conducts daily sales calls and and establish proper and effective prospecting for potential clients • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g. generating proposals, Corporate Rate Application letters, writing contract, customer correspondence). • Able to support hotel service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. • Work closely with the hotel management team to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotel. • Develop strong relationships with on property front office team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals. • Attending all department and hotel meetings as necessary. • Targeting key accounts potential for the company. • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc. • Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities. • Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals for clients. • Closely following up on all business leads within a 24-hour response time line to clients Job Requirements: • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. • Previous experience in Hotel Sales is a must , within Marriott various brands, is an advantage • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) . • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry and reporting. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
