Sales Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic Sales professional to builds and maintains effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts that may include major strategic customers within a geographic or industry focus.

You’ll be responsible for:

Negotiate through the gatekeeper to decision makersPresent proposals with commercial justifications for investing in solutionsEffective close opportunitiesDevelop and execution a robust pipelineFocus on building and nurturing business partner relationships to increase revenueDefine and create a product portfolio strategy including segmentation, targeting and positioning in conjunction with Solution Marketing ManagersAttend customer sites on a regular basis with and without account executives to engage with customers about their industry, business challenges and how LexisNexis can develop products and services that suit their needs.Meet monthly with solution line leaders and product managers to receive briefings on product plans and research into customer use of LexisNexis products and services. Incorporate this information into team training and segment sales plans.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

10 years experience in a Sales role within a prominent organisation using solution and consultative selling approaches.At least 4 years experience in managing a sales teamExperience in managing all aspects of establishing, building and maintaining long term channel relationships that provide revenue growth;Candidates must be confident and comfortable presenting business solutions to a C-Level audienceDemonstrated performance against sales objectives.Demonstrated negation skills in a complex solutions environmentExperience and training in high level account management and client relationship development.Experience leading a team through organisational change processesAbility to communicate/negotiate with staff at all levels within a law firm (essential).Excellent verbal and written communication skills (essential).High level presentation skills (essential).Strong numeracy skills (essential).
