National Sales Manager Smart Power

Your role and responsibilities

ABB Electrification is a global leader providing sustainable energy technologies to build a smarter, safer, and greener future. As the Regional Sales Manager, you will lead the sales team for Smart Buildings and Smart Power in Eastern Canada, driving growth, customer relationships, and market expansion for low voltage components and power distribution solutions.•\tDevelop and implement regional sales growth strategies to meet and exceed set objectives.•\tLead, support, and coach the sales team to maintain a strong pipeline and ensure quality fore-casts.•\tStrengthen relationships with key accounts, including distributors, electrical contractors, OEMs, and panel manufacturers, to identify opportunities and define market penetration strategies.•\tCollaborate with national leaders, product marketing teams, and segment managers to drive market penetration and annual growth.•\tManage the performance of distribution partners, including annual order plans and quarterly reviews, and take corrective actions if necessary.•\tPrepare account plans, oversee the preparation of offers, and ensure effective marketing and value propositions aligned with ABB's strategy.•\tEnsure a positive customer experience by addressing needs, resolving issues, and creating added value throughout the sales process.•\tDrive the development of new market opportunities, share knowledge, and encourage collabo-ration within the organization.•\tUse tools like Salesforce and Power BI to track opportunities, manage customer relationships, and forecast sales performance.

Qualifications for the role

Over 10 years of sales experience, including 2 to 3 years leading high-performing teams.Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.Proven ability to build and manage long-term client relationships while driving growth.Strong skills in pipeline management, strategic planning, and market development.Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
