Sales & Logistics Administrator
Successful incumbent will have a completed B.Com (Accounting / Logistics) coupled with 5 years experience in a Sales Administration role within the Engineering / Mining or Logistics Industry (essential).  A strong flair for Accounting is essential for the purpose of doing quotations, taking into account currency conversions on freight costs and prices, as well as a solid background on import and export processes and administration.
KPI's include: Liaising directly between the sales force, customers and the company supply chain to fill all internal and external customer orders timeously and accurately; receiving, processing and distribution of all customers orders placed; Generating customer quotes, sales orders and tax invoices; calculate pricing, profit / margin % calculations, shipping cost calculations; handling of customer queries should they arise; manage incoming calls from suppliers and customers; manage the entire sales process; identify back orders or no stock items and communicate with client and sales force as to status; chase up on back orders and ensure stock is received / dispatched according to customers requirements with the correct timeframe; process and submit pro-forma and / or urgent quotations when necessary; regular communication to update sales forces on logistics and issues regarding customer requirements; and provide regular feedback to clients and sales force regarding order fulfilment status. Manage the logistics function and organise all transportation of spare parts from overseas suppliers to the end customer with all necessary documentation (commercial invoice, clearing documents etc.). Solid SAP experience essential.
