Sales Finance Manager, Topline Planning

Position Overview

Our Go-To-Market (GTM) Finance organization is looking for a Sales Finance Manager to support Topline Planning. This individual contributor role will enable you to play a critical role of trusted financial partner to a wide range of stakeholders within GTM Finance and with the broader Corporate FP&A organization. You will demonstrate a strategic mindset, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ability to work with various systems and tools.  

 
Our GTM organization brings together our Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and GTM technology teams under one group. GTM Finance is committed to ongoing skills development, process excellence, and work-life balance for the team.  

 

This position can be based remotely anywhere in the US.  

 
Responsibilities 

Support the end-to-end topline planning process, with the objective of setting annual targets and external guidance  

Participate in narrative formulation with respect to strategic initiatives, business performance trends, growth drivers, opportunities, and risks  

Build financial models using defensible assumptions, develop financial scenarios, conduct ad hoc analyses and reconciliations  

Partner with various stakeholders and finance business partners to gather inputs and align on key assumptions  

Develop and present financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team  

Drive continuous development and enhancement of planning systems and tools (Anaplan) to support new business models and GTM initiatives  

Build and automate financial reports     

Own and proactively drive independent projects with minimal supervision  

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree  

5+ years of relevant finance experience, Software preferred  

Experience in FP&A (topline planning and forecasting), audit, equity research, investing, consulting, investment banking, or other relevant finance experience    

Knowledge of revenue accounting concepts  

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills  

Ability to work with data systems and large datasets

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $107,400 and $173,800. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
