We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team, with a specific focus on the data center market. This role is pivotal in driving our business growth by developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the data center sector, and by promoting our distributed generation solutions. As the HyAxiom product portfolio expands, the Sales Executive will assist with market entry by leveraging existing and new customer relationships. Role & Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
+ Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence in the data center sector.
+ Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the data center market.
+ Present and demonstrate our distributed generation solutions to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and value propositions.
Client Relationship Management:
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the data center sector, including C-level executives and decision-makers.
+ Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their energy requirements.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Role & Responsibilities (continued)
Market Analysis & Intelligence:
+ Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities within the data center sector.
+ Provide insights and feedback to the product development and marketing teams to help refine our offerings and strategies.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
+ Work closely with the project management, engineering, and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
+ Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales materials and campaigns.
Job Requirement - Education & Experience
+ BA/BS degree with 10+ years of experience
+ MA/MS/MBA degree with 7+ years of experience
+ Proven track record of success in the data center market
+ Experience with energy products or projects, preferably in power deployment and data center construction
+ Experience working directly with firms involved in the specification, design and execution of clean tech or renewable energy projects
+ Knowledge of distributed generation and/or combined heat and power (CHP) applications
+ Strong communication skills with a proven capability to translate complex technologies
+ Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to manage multiple negotiations simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
+ Experience with CRM software and other sales tools

+ Candidate could reside anywhere within the United States, but will be expected to travel to customer sites and HyAxiom HQ (Hartford, CT)
