Job Title:  Sales Engineer – Abrasive Blast Nozzles

Location: Remote – preferred locations would be Midwest, Eastern US, or the Gulf Coast area  


An excellent opportunity has been made available to join Kennametal as a Sales Engineer to support our Industrial Blast Nozzle product portfolio within North America. This role is critical to build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing technical expertise in abrasive blast processes and equipment.
 

Responsibilities

Educate and evaluate the needs of the channel partners to help develop the appropriate plan to meet and exceed the objectives. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with OEM and distribution partners Develop and maintain a pipeline of projects in CRM to drive the annual sales growth plan. Keep customers well informed about latest technology developments and product innovations. Regularly review the changes and dynamics of the market to ensure that the opportunities are in line with the company's strategy. Work closely with our manufacturing operations teams to ensure customer needs are met Collaborate with our product management and development teams to share customer needs and feedback Prepare regular progress, status and forecast reports to management in the assigned area of responsibility. Participate in Road Shows, Open Days and trade shows. Can anticipate spending 50% of the time in front of end-users/customers
 

Requirements

An Associates or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related program preferred A minimum of five years of experience in industrial selling Outside Sales experience is a must. An in-depth understanding of surface preparation industry preferred An innovative and self-motivated marketer who is able to work independently with little supervision. Competence with MS Office in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience Developing Relationships with customers
