Description:
\t\t\t\t\tThe Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities with Humphrey Distribution partners and ensure that the customers expectations are met during the sales process. They will then have to document sale activities in CRM system. They will be the primary interface/liaison between the customer and the greater organization.They will have to identify and develop new customers, applications and markets, while providing support to the existing customers and distributors within the region. They will work on evaluating existing distributors based on performance and the introduction of new potential opportunities. They are a key in providing the company support in prospective sales data gathering. The Sales Engineer works closely with small teams - engineering, project planners, production planners to ensure products to fruition and deliver to customers. There will be up to 70% travel.Day to day responsibilities:-Search for new distributors in underperforming territories-Provide pre-sales application engineering services to accounts within the territory and coordinate additional services to be provided by the engineering team-Execute sales and marketing strategies-Perform demonstrations of product capabilities and features-Perform fieldwork with distributors to present new products and potential ES remedies to customers-Provide direct contact with prospective customers for opportunities best handled on a direct basis-Provide feedback and input to internal product management and development team-Provide weekly activity reports to company management via the Contact Manager-Create/Maintain New Business Opportunities via the contact manager-Provide monthly forecast information via the Sales Representative Performance Reports
