This role in summary

 

Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in selling skills & competencies and product knowledge of major appliances as Sales Enablement Senior Analyst. The role is based at the Benton Harbor, MI location.
 
As the major appliance Sales Enablement Senior Analyst, you will work with cross functional teams and will be responsible for developing sales enablement material containing product information, brand messaging, and information on how to sell our products versus the competition for both internal employees and external trade customers. Additionally, you will conduct new hire training, new product education and brand training all with the purpose of enabling our sales force to win in the marketplace.

 

This role requires the ability to deliver knowledge and how to apply knowledge in a relevant and persuasive presentation to internal teams at Whirlpool Corporation and external teams via trade customer events. For this reason, the candidate will be required to also present an organized persuasive presentation on a topic of their choice.  

The requirements of the presentation are as follows:

Persuasive presentation to be no longer than 5 minutes.Presentation topic is chosen by the candidate.Candidate will be evaluated on effectiveness of presentation.Immediately after the conclusion of the persuasive presentation, feedback will be provided.Your responsibilities will include

 

Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a major appliance(s) - Laundry, Dishwasher, Cooking and/or Refrigeration.Understand major appliance data and trends to deliver insights to drive incremental sales Design and develop sales enablement materialsDeliver sales enablement tools and assets that are award winning Utilize interpersonal and presentation skills The Whirlpool Strategic Selling drives our actions, behaviors and skills to support the Whirlpool selling organization. Build out new skill training in the area of omni channel or e-commerce while refining established competenciesInteract with internal and external contacts such as merchandising, product managers, brand managers, agencies and senior sales leaders as well as our trade customers. Examples are delivering content at the Sales Conference to 50 internal sales reps, educating eight Real Whirled team members on product knowledge or presenting to nearly 150 Buy Fair members regarding Whirlpool’s latest product innovation Use and enhance technology and computer skills Conduct research with the sales enablement team to find best practices that will drive sales results and profits15% traveling on a quarterly basis throughout the US marketMinimum requirements

 

Bachelor's degree 3+ years of selling or sales education experience1+ years of selling or training in the Home Appliance industryPreferred skills and experiences
