Sales Effectiveness Intern – 2025 Summer Internship
Description and Requirements Healthfirst’s 2025 Summer Trailblazer Internship is a 10-week paid program beginning on June 2, 2025. This is an immersive and interactive learning experience that lays a foundation for continued leadership development. Interns do impactful work, collaborating with other interns, employees, and business leaders to solve current business problems and deliver solutions. Position Summary:  

The Sales Effectiveness intern is a newly conceived role within the Healthfirst Medicare Growth Team. This person will help develop and execute communication strategies, content creation, and production editing. 

The Medicare Growth Team doubled its membership in five years and there is no sign of slowing down. The ideal candidate will leverage their creativity, intelligence, ownership mindset, strong connectivity skills, and desire for producing out-sized results to expand our impact and accelerate our Medicare growth. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread emails, newsletters, website posts, PowerPoint decks and other communication materials. Production: Shoot, edit, and disseminate media including videos and podcasts. Project Management: Manage project performance activities, resource deployment, project execution, and overall coordination efforts. Administrative Support: Provide universal support for the team including filing, organizing materials, and upkeeping the team SharePoint site. 

 

Minimum Requirements:  

Undergraduate students must be a junior or senior at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program.  Will not require sponsorship for employment  Eligible to work in the U.S.  Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA from an accredited school  Knowledge of project management concepts 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Students currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program, or an accredited Master’s degree program or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field.  Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with digital communication tools for production & editing Experience with digital project management tools such as Monday.com and/or MS Project 

 

Hiring Range*:

Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $39,208 - $52,000

All Other Locations (within approved locations): $34,091 - $49,920

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
