Sales Director – Central US Region
Location Requirements: This role is remote. We are looking for a candidate who resides within the Central US region territory.
Territory: Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
Your role on the team:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Director to join our dynamic sales team! This position is based in your home office with travel in the assigned territory. Reporting to the SR Director, Regional Sales, the Sales Director role leads a team of sales professionals in positioning Frontline’s solution products and services to prospective K-12 school districts. This role enables the creation of long-term, consultative relationships with new and existing clients in the K-12 market, partnering with School Districts and School Boards to influence the buying decision process.
You can expect to:
Management
Recruit, retain, and manage a high-performing team of Education Solutions Executives (ESE) to exceed sales goals and objectives. Act as an advisor/coach to the ESEs while maintaining a positive and motivational work environment. Conduct weekly 1:1s; quarterly territory reviews, and quarterly feedback sessions with each direct report. Set clear goals and expectations; conduct performance evaluations and provide regular mentorship, coaching, and feedback. Ensure the team is building an accurate sales pipeline of qualified sales opportunities. Regularly review sales activity and results to direct individual performance and to provide input to senior leadership. Provide support to the team when closing large, complex deals directly with senior client executives. Effectively communicate vision, strategy, and expectations to your team and other stakeholders while accepting feedback and building relationships. Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment by encouraging open communication, knowledge sharing, and collective problem-solving.Sales Planning and Reporting
Build sales processes; create and determine territory breakdowns, territory alignment, compensation plans, hiring, and career progression to achieve expected performance outcomes. Develop sales tools and provide training to enable your team to effectively navigate the sales process. Prepare activity reporting and forecasting to provide weekly visibility of the team’s performance to goals. Report your team’s metrics to the Sales Leadership and Executive Leadership teams. Accurately forecast your team’s bookings on a monthly and quarterly basis.What you bring to the role:
5+ years of sales management experience; preferably within a SaaS model Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth with a focus on high-quality customer service delivery, revenue growth, and client retention Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Experience within the K-12 market is preferred, but not required Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience Proficiency utilizing a CRM to manage selling activity, preferably Salesforce Strong selling, negotiating, and influencing skills and the ability to coach and train in a positive, effective manner Flexibility to travel 50%, as neededWho we are:
