We are expanding our public sector vertical and seeking an experieced leader to define and execute our growth strategy, shape tailored solutions for public sector clients, and lead high-quality, strategic responses to public tenders and framework agreements.
Role Overview
As the Sales Director for Adobe AEM, you will own and drive the Adobe vertical, with a strategic focus on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and content supply chain solutions. This role is highly sales-driven, with a core responsibility to identify, create, and manage leads while working alongside pre-sales, delivery, and alliance teams to convert opportunities into revenue.
You will leverage your deep expertise in Adobe technologies and your strong industry network to expand Merkle’s footprint within enterprise clients. Your ability to build strategic relationships, drive new business opportunities, and orchestrate complex sales cycles will be key to success.
You will be responsible for:
Business Development & Sales Execution
Own the Adobe AEM and content supply chain sales pipeline and drive net new business across key industries and verticals.Generate qualified leads and manage sales opportunities, ensuring a consistent pipeline for the pre-sales team to develop proposals and solutions.Meet and exceed annual sales quota by driving new logo acquisition and expansion sales.Lead strategic engagement with Adobe and drive joint go-to-market (GTM) initiatives.Leverage deep industry connections to identify high-value enterprise opportunities.Build and maintain strong relationships with CMOs, CTOs, CIOs, and digital transformation leaders at target organizations.Industry & Solution Expertise
Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, demonstrating deep knowledge of Adobe AEM, content supply chain, and broader Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.Understand the business impact of content velocity, digital asset management (DAM), and automation within enterprise marketing.Develop tailored business cases for AEM implementations, showing ROI and operational efficiencies for clients.Act as an industry thought leader, sharing insights on content operations, digital transformation, and marketing technology trends.Collaboration & GTM Strategy
Work closely with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to align client needs with Merkle’s Adobe solutions.Partner with Adobe’s sales and alliances teams to drive joint deals and co-sell opportunities.Align with Merkle’s industry sales leads to drive multi-disciplinary CX engagements.Support marketing campaigns, industry events, and executive networking to generate demand.Qualifications & Experience
A proven sales leader with a strong track record in enterprise software sales, particularly within Adobe, AEM, and content supply chain offerings.Deeply connected within the industry, with a strong network of Adobe contacts and enterprise decision-makers.Comfortable operating in a highly competitive, fast-paced sales environment with a strong hunter mentality.Skilled in navigating complex sales cycles, including responding to RFPs, RFIs, and building proactive business cases.A strategic thinker who can translate market needs into sales opportunities and effectively position Merkle’s Adobe capabilities.Experienced in managing pipeline forecasting, CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), and sales reporting.Working at Our Company
