Sales/Marketing–Sales Coordinator

 

 

Department/Division/Section:  Sales/Marketing – Group Sales

 

Job Summary/Essential Functions:   The Group Sales Coordinator Representative handles all aspects of outside ticket sales, from maintaining and growing sales for partner properties which include hotels, voucher, pre-sold and consignment sales, to sharing responsibility with assisting the marketing department with distributing collateral, forming and building new relationships and assisting with social media needs

 

Specific physical responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks.

Maintain and achieve performance goals, developing new contacts and coordinating ticket distribution among area partners and properties.Work closely with the marketing department to assist with social media needs.Coordinate distribution of marketing information and collateral.Track number and revenue in conjunction with the A/R department for weekly and monthly reports.Function as a point of contact for all hotels and outside sales.Assists in the annual budget planning process and regularly monitors expenditures.Establishes rapport and maintains contact with contract clients and potential clients.Follows up with customers on a routine basis to ensure satisfaction with services received.

 

Job requirements: 

Must love interacting with new people and maintaining relationship with clients. This job requires a significant amount of person-to-person social interaction, phone and email skills.Fluent in Microsoft office ( Excel, Word and Power Point Programs )Self-motivated individual, skilled in networking and relationship-building.High School Diploma or GED equivalencyMust have valid driver’s licenseExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Outstanding attention to detail.Comfortable speaking with large groups.Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.The ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment.   

 

Physical Demands: 

Must be able to lift-up to 30 pounds.Demonstrated record of success in sales, including at least 1 year experience in a sales position.

 

 

Language: Fluent English
