Sales Coordinator

Hampton Inn Marlborough located at 277 Boston Post Road West, is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join the team!

Our Hampton Inn Marlborough provides guests with complimentary breakfast daily, and strives to create a great start to each guest’s day through this service. The Breakfast Attendant prepares and assists with the service of the complimentary buffet-style breakfast.

The Sales Coordinator provides the support necessary to efficiently maintain current sales systems, applications, and sales databases.  This role is responsible for assisting clients in booking hotel meeting and event spaces, coordinating with various hotel departments and external vendors to ensure smooth event execution, and maintaining client relationships through effective communication and personalized service, primarily focusing on administrative tasks to support the sales team. 

Key responsibilities:

Client interaction:

Field all client inquiry calls, provide information about hotel facilities and packages, and manage the booking process for meetings, conferences, and events. 

Sales support:

Prepare proposals, contracts, and necessary documentation for clients, including rooming lists, catering options, and event timelines , generate and distribute weekly group resumes, to all pertinent departments.  

Coordination with departments:

Collaborate with front desk, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution. 

Site inspections:

Conduct site tours for potential clients, highlighting the hotel's features and capabilities. 

Relationship management:

Maintain regular communication with clients, creating and sending client booking links as required, address concerns prior to group arrivals, and follow up on leads to nurture long-term relationships. 

Data management:

Update and maintain the CRM system with client information, booking details, and sales activity.
