Sales Coordinator
Allied Machine & Engineering, headquartered in Dover, Ohio, is a leading manufacturer of holemaking and finishing cutting tool systems. The Sales Coordinator will provide comprehensive support to the sales team ensuring efficient progression of leads into closed deals. Requirements Duties/Responsibilities · Facilitate the movement of opportunities through the sales process by managing sales-related activities. · Coordinate the scheduling of sales meetings, demos, and presentations to move opportunities forward. · Assist in the preparation and delivery of sales proposals, quotes, and other necessary documents. · Track the progress of sales opportunities through the pipeline and follow up as needed. · Liaise with internal departments, such as marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales activities. · Act as a central point of contact for sales-related inquiries and coordination. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales interactions and customer communications. · Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests for information, directing them to the appropriate representative. Skills/Abilities · Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. · Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in all aspects of work. · Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and proactive. · Problem-solving skills with the ability to address issues quickly and efficiently. · Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to delivering exceptional service. · Understanding of sales processes and techniques. · Adaptability and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the sales team. Education/Experience · Previous experience in a sales support or coordination role is beneficial. · Familiarity with CRM systems and sales automation tools. · Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
