Sales Consultant
ENVIRONMENT: Our client is  looking for a driven and dynamic Sales Consultant to spearhead new business development initiatives in the B2B retail sector across the Western Cape. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a passion for sales, strong closing skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with retail businesses.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, securing meetings with decision-makers, presenting solutions, and closing deals that drive revenue and business growth   DUTIES: Proactively identify and target new business opportunities within the retail sector. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, and client referrals. Present company products/services to prospective clients in a compelling and professional manner. Negotiate and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Manage and grow client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. Stay updated with market trends and competitor activity within the retail space. Report on sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts to management.   REQUIREMENTS: Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license (travel is essential across the Western Cape). Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the retail sector.   Preferred: Experience selling products or services into retail chains or independent retail outlets. Knowledge of the Western Cape retail landscape and established business networks. Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.   ATTRIBUTES: Strong communication and interpersonal skills – both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to close sales and meet/exceed targets. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently. Solid presentation and negotiation skills.  High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
