About the position:

We are currently seeking a Sales Area Manager in our growing Birmingham/Tuscaloosa division Our Sales Area Managers manage, train, and motivate the sales agents in their assigned area as well as address complicated buyer issues or questions that may arise. Sales Area Managers are also responsible for signing all documentation related to home purchases and closings.

To support Sales Agents, our Sales Area Managers serve on a call rotation, working 1 weekend per month. They are also responsible for actively participating in the recruiting process and work closely with the HR team to support the onboarding of new sales agents.

Essential Functions:

Manage and supervise sales staff in an assigned area including training, planning, assigning communities, directing work, providing performance feedback, addressing concerns, and resolving issues Recruit and hire new Sales RepresentativesProvide ongoing training and motivation to meet or exceed set sales goalsOversee grand openings or new phase expansions and create new incentives for neighborhoods as neededComplete competitive analysis on products, features, and neighborhoods/amenitiesCollaborate with Marketing and Division Leadership on advertising; assist Sales Representatives with marketing promotionsPerform realtor outreach (office presentations, education, meals, etc.)Enforce company policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned
