Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager

Job Description

The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for researching and developing sales and marketing opportunities, planning and implementing new strategic sales plans, and executing those plans. This role involves managing the Customer Service team to meet the company's operational goals. The manager will integrate the roles of account executive, sales manager, and market manager to achieve organic growth in the U.S. market.

ResponsibilitiesLead Customer Service Operations and Team, including lab services, regulations, ISO standards, lab operation processes, capabilities, and capacity.Manage and mentor the Customer Success Leader to meet performance expectations.Develop annual Sales & Marketing strategic plans for 1, 3, and 5 years.Research and implement sales and marketing strategies based on market and client requirements, including new revenue portfolios.Promote the brand and introduce new testing services to the market.Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various communication channels, including digital marketing.Analyze customer data to identify different customer segments and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.Report monthly sales status, ROI, and market/competitor trends to top management.Create and manage budgets for sales activities and marketing campaigns, including customer service.Establish new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients.Lead outgoing sales activities and generate new business focusing on operational capabilities and laboratory capacity.Ensure all sales and customer service-related activities support customer satisfaction, retention, and new business development goals.Assess the annual Sales & Marketing organizational structure for operational efficiency and headcount; propose options to top management.Attend all Sales & Marketing positions and critical positions for talent management, coordinating with HR and necessary parties.Stay current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, workshops, and maintaining professional networks.Essential SkillsExtensive experience in leading, motivating, and supervising teams.Experience in organizational change management projects.Experience in project management and business development.Experience in customer service.Proficiency in MS Office.Bachelor's degree in sciences or M.B.A. in marketing/business, or equivalent directly related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major).At least two years of experience in sales and project management.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write SOPs, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from subordinates, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to analyze sales data, calculate profit margins, forecast sales, manage budgets, interpret market research, and make informed strategic decisions.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of chemistry, lab testing equipment, food science, and digital marketing.Experience in inside sales and marketing communications.Work Environment

The position is fully on-site, with up to 40% domestic travel after 6 months. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $100000.00

Medical/vision insurance (company covers 100% of EE premium and 90% of dependent and HSA- company covers 100% of premium and contributes to HSA every month), dental insurance, LTD, FSA, supplemental insurance, LegalShield/IDShield, 401(k), PTO, 13 paid holidays, and partnership with Adidas and Columbia employee store.
