Sales Analyst (CPG)

**DESCRIPTION**
This position is a **\#hybrid** open to **\#anywhere** , working on-site, **3 days a week** if you live close to an **Acosta Group** office **.**
You will be responsible for **analyzing, managing, and optimizing** the allocation of cases at assigned customers. This role requires a **strong analytical mindset** , excellent communication skills, and the ability to **work collaboratively** with various departments to ensure **customer satisfaction** and **operational efficiency** .
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Analyze **customer data and trends** to determine optimal allocation strategies.
+ D **evelop and implement allocation plans** to ensure efficient distribution of the product.
+ Monitor and adjust allocations based on **customer demand, inventory levels,** and **business priorities** .
+ Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and operations teams to align allocation strategies with overall business goals.
+ **Prepare and present reports on allocation performance** , highlighting key insights and recommendations.
+ **Identify** and **address** any allocation issues or discrepancies promptly.
+ Maintain accurate records of **allocation decisions** and **changes** .
+ Continuously improve allocation processes through **data analysis** and **feedback from stakeholders** .
+ Support the development and implementation of **allocation related policies** and **procedures** .
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred
**Work Experience Requirements:**
+ **1-3 years** of related work experience
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:**
+ Demonstrate an intermediate degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications including Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Power BI and advanced macros would be a strong asset.
+ Experience with **retailer POS** , **syndicated data,** and/or **category** /space management tools would be an asset.
+ Demonstrates a drive for results, pursuing assigned tasks with energy and a desire to achieve.
+ Able to **understand and apply basic math and CPG principles** in the achievement of assigned work.
+ Effectively communicate and interact with others and work effectively within a team.
