Sales Account Rep/Buyer Details:

Contract to Hire position$26.92 /hourFirst Shift

Ocean carrier bookings:

Use carrier websites and E2Open INTTRA to create export bookings.Create and submit shipping instructions.Create and obtain approvals for Seaway Bills and Bills of Lading.Manage unplanned booking changes due to supplier delays and carrier problems.Communicate with Trade Compliance Department and LOBs on a very timely basis.Correctly route commercial documents: Seaway bills and bills of lading

Manage the department email inbox daily.

Incoming emails from carriers.Incoming emails from HTA associates and departments.Use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams

Manage requests for logistics quotations as needed.

Domestic trucking quotes. International ocean carrier and air carrier quotes (as needed)

Meticulously accurate work is absolutely required

Sales Account Rep/Buyer Qualifications:

Basic understanding of HazMat and Dangerous Goods transportation regulations (49 CFR, IATA, IMDG)Basic understanding of Incoterms, 3PL operations, warehousing, and packaging.Basic understanding of customs entries and export procedures.Basic understanding of ocean freight, air freight, and domestic truck freight
