Sales Account Manager, Eastern NA Date: Feb 17, 2025 Posting End Date: Location: US Company: ICL Specialty Products Inc **Job Description** As the **Sales Account Manager, Eastern NA** , you’ll be responsible for building and nurturing key customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities in your region. You’ll drive sales through customer visits, collaborate across teams, maintain an up-to-date customer database, and use CRM tools to manage interactions. You’ll also gather market intelligence, represent the company at trade shows, and work to expand the Specialty Products Division. **Location:** This position will cover multiple states in the Eastern Region of the US including OH, NC, PA, NJ and other possible areas. When not traveling in the field, this position will work remotely from home. **I’m interested! What will I get to do in this position?** + Manage and strengthen relationships with key customers in your region. + Identify and pursue new business opportunities. + Conduct regular customer visits and trials to ensure satisfaction. + Collaborate with internal teams (customer service, R&D, tech, sales) to meet customer needs. + Maintain accurate customer records and call reports. + Prepare sales forecasts and utilize CRM tools to track interactions. + Gather competitive insights and market trends. + Attend regional and national trade shows. + Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth. + Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements with internal teams. + Serve as a liaison to resolve customer issues with technical teams. + Coordinate with logistics, production, and supply chain to ensure timely order fulfillment. **What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?** + Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field. + 5+ years of experience in chemical sales or a similar industry. + Strong technical sales experience. + Proven ability to identify and develop new markets for specialty phosphates and chemicals. + Willingness to travel 25-50% within the assigned territory. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across organizational levels. + Experience collaborating with technical and R&D teams. + Strong relationship-building skills with customers, industry stakeholders, and trade associations. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms. **Compensation at ICL:** If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
