Additional duties may include: + Overall implementation of action plans, follow-up, and resolution of safety issues. + Support company Safety programs, safety policies, KPIs, and procedures at all locations regardless of management or structural changes + Advise and recommend solutions to operations staff regarding issues related to Safety, Health, and Environmental concerns + Conduct periodic reviews of CAPA’s to verify and ensure quality of hazards identified and effectiveness of preventative measures + Work closely with operations on a regular basis including attending division conference calls and division meetings. + Ensure operations teams comply with all external customer requirements, government agencies, and established policies and procedures + Address plant specific needs and assist with making action plans to solve plant level issues + Provide open communication and resources to all Operations Leaders, Safety Team Members, and Support Services as needed and escalate concerns when appropriate + Special Projects and other duties as assigned **YOUR MUST HAVES:** + Must be 18 years of age or older. + Active Driver’s License. + Bachelor’s degree in safety related field or equivalent job experience. + Demonstrated proficiency in decision-making and conflict resolution, backed by a tracked record of success. + Shown integrity and self-motivation. **WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:** **OUR ENVIRONMENT:** This position is based in your home office, when not travelling to the corporate headquarters, customer, or plant locations which may require the use of PPE including safety glasses, hardhat, ear protection, and/or other protective equipment/clothing. Walking, standing, sitting, and computer work are all required in this environment.
