MAU is hiring a Safety Manager in Hendersonville, NC. As a Safety Manager, you will lead safety initiatives across the Kimberly-Clark site, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting MAU's operational goals in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Benefits Package Competitive Compensation Package Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Paid Holidays (11) Paid Vacation Great Work Environment Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Care Partners Program Health Club Reimbursement Program Additional Supplemental Benefit Programs 401k Salary Continuation Educational Reimbursement FMLA Available After 12 Months of Service Shift Information Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–4:00 PM Some weekends are required based on business needs Career Path Site Manager General Manager Director Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of applicable experience General Requirements Ethical Conduct Personal Effectiveness and Credibility Strong Communication and Organizational Skills Leadership and Strategic Thinking Results Driven Decision Making and Problem-Solving Essential Functions Act as site lead for all safety initiatives Conduct daily safety audits and review with site leadership Identify and report workplace safety hazards Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with PPE and work instructions Lead safety training and onboarding programs Manage roll storage compliance with Kimberly-Clark standards Maintain and oversee all safety documentation, SOPs, and OSHA programs Serve as the site contact for quality audits and expectations Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement Facilitate annual safety assessments and action plans Manage and deliver OSHA-mandated training (10- and 30-hour courses) Oversee Powered Industrial Vehicle Training Develop and standardize safety processes, materials, and programs Conduct audits and analyze safety data to identify and address risks Mentor and coach associates on safety practices On-call 24/7 for all MAU safety and HR-related incidents, including injuries and damages Serve on the KC and MAU Safety Steering Committees Participate as a member of the MAU HR team Maintain the safety management system for MAU at Kimberly-Clark Work Environment and Physical Demands Combination of office and manufacturing settings Exposure to administrative areas, process equipment, and industrial vehicles Conditions range from non-temperature-controlled areas to GMP clean rooms Physical Requirements Must be able to walk up to 6 miles daily Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs Travel Occasional off-site training or team building (< 25 miles monthly)
