Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all. **Resume of the Position:** **The Safety & Environmental Coordinator is responsible for implementing Global EHS Strategies in their own facility, ensuring compliance with Local Laws and Colgate’s Standards. This includes the use of guidelines, self-assessments, inspections, training and other programs to enable the subsidiary to deliver consistent, outstanding EHS performance.** **What we expect from you** + **Implement site EHS strategy and coordinate the site EHS program in compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.** + **Lead all aspects of incident investigation and reporting for environmental issues, including serious environmental impact incidents (SIE and PSIE).** + **Supports with the plant Sustainability program: Water and Energy Conservation, Emissions Control, Environmental Training, Sustainability Initiatives, and the True Zero Waste certification program, aiming for over 90% waste recycled or reused.** + **Ensure EHS training requirements compliance and manage the site’s EHS eLearning system, along with the development of EHS-related training courses, including training on new environmental and safety standards.** + **Lead the Clinic function, ensuring it is well-equipped and staffed to provide medical support to employees and coordinate medical examinations based on exposure to hazards.** + **Lead EHS standards implementation: refer to R&Rs matrix detail for each standard and work with regional EHS responsible for annual activity and resource management planning.** + **Coordinate activities related to environmental awareness campaigns and maintain control of environmental indicators, ensuring all tasks have designated accountability.** + **Assess the ergonomics of workstations and develop action plans to mitigate identified risks.** + **Oversee the management of the Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant and collaborate with maintenance to establish a preventative and corrective maintenance plan.** + **Conduct regular routine inspections and safety walkthroughs with plant leadership and investigate and report injuries, illnesses, and incidents promptly.** + **Plan and coordinate emergency response drills, contractor safety programs, and maintain up-to-date training for all employees concerning EHS standards.** + **Participate in budgeting for EHS accounts and ensure effective communication and follow-up with finance and engineering departments.** **What we're looking for** + **Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Management Bachelor Degree or related careers (desirable)** + **From 2 to 3 years experience in EHS or related experience.** + **Advanced Spanish & English** + **Regulatory Compliance: Understand and ensure compliance with laws and regulations (desirable)** + **Risk Management: Identify and mitigate workplace risks effectively. (desirable)** + **Sustainability Reporting: Track, analyze, and report sustainability metrics.
