****This position will be based out of the LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY Area****

General Summary

This positions primary focus is on ensuring Safety and Environmental compliance for a territory of locations. The position requires travel to the locations periodically to perform on site evaluations and provide feedback to the location manager. Providing solutions and guidance, training employees and monitoring systems to ensure regulatory compliance.

Essential Job Functions

Conduct Safety & Environmental inspections of SSC facilities some of which include Propane and Anhydrous Ammonia storage.

Facilitate training sessions with employees on certain topics as needed

Assist locations with regulatory reporting

Work with regulatory agencies and management to address any issues that arise at facilities

Attend industry conferences, training meetings and continuing education courses as needed.

Assist with the investigation of leaks, spills, accidents, thefts, and other safety, security, and environmental incidents.

Participate in committee groups for various initiatives as needed

Must be an independent worker, able to meet goals and expectations, treat others with respect, strong verbal and written communication is important.

Perform other duties as assigned.
