Job Title: Safety Coordinator
Job Description

We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team on a large airport project with a concrete subcontractor. The role requires the individual to be onsite, working under the guidance of a project manager.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with safety regulations on a large commercial construction site.Conduct safety training and manage safety programs.Oversee the implementation of safety measures and protocols.Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety standards.Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.Facilitate compliance with airport security checks.Essential SkillsCertified in Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST).Minimum of 3 years of experience on large commercial construction sites.Strong understanding of construction safety management.Proficient in blueprint reading and foundation construction.Certified in OSHA 500 and OSHA 30.Experience with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in commercial construction, specifically in concrete.Ability to work directly with project owners and management.Strong communication and organizational skills.Work Environment

The role is based onsite at a large billion-dollar construction project. There are trailers onsite, but no permanent office. The workplace emphasizes a high regard for safety. The role provides a direct line of communication with the owner, who is supportive and empowers employees. The management team is highly experienced and committed to providing the best training. There is a strong potential for career advancement within the organization.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00/hr.
