We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

Operations ManagementOversee IBM i (AS/400) and IBM Z (Mainframe) system operations.Ensure high availability and performance of critical business applications.Monitor alert consoles, review and improve IPL, Role Swaps, system recycles, and subsystem handling.Incident Problem ManagementLead incident resolution, analyze recurring issues, implement permanent fixes, and drive proactive problem management.Enforce ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change managementEnsure continuous alert optimization and MTTR reductionAutomation OptimizationIdentify and implement automation solutions to reduce manual interventions.Work with engineering teams to integrate alert management and self-healing automation.Team Leadership DevelopmentLead a team of IBM i and IBM Z administrators/operators across multiple shifts.Conduct weekly/monthly performance reviews, track team productivity, and provide coaching. Mentor junior team members and build succession plans.Develop cross-training programs to ensure team members can handle both IBM i and IBM Z operations.Security ComplianceEnsure compliance with security policies and regulatory guidelines (e.g., SOX, GDPR).Implement access control measures to prevent unauthorized system changes.Work with audit teams to address compliance gaps.Stakeholder Vendor ManagementLiaise with business teams, IT infrastructure, application teams, and third-party vendors.Participate in technical discussions with senior IT leadership.
