Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Confirm reservations with guests via email or phone following LQA and Forbes Standards, providing confirmation details, reservation policies, and relevant information to ensure guests have all necessary information for their upcoming stays, detailed-orientatated. Communicate effectively with other hotel departments, including front office, housekeeping, and sales, to coordinate room assignments, special requests, and guest preferences, ensuring seamless guest experiences from booking to check-out.Problem resolution: Address guest concerns or issues related to reservations, such as discrepancies, cancellations, or special requests, and work with relevant departments to resolve problems promptly and satisfactorily.Sales support: support the hotel’s sales and revenue management efforts by identifying opportunities for room sales, optimizing occupancy, and implementing strategies to maximize room revenue and profitability.Reporting and record keeping: maintain accurate records of reservation activities, including guest profiles, booking statistics, and revenue reports, and generate reservation-related reports as needed for management analysis and decision-making.
About you
Proven experience in Reservations within luxury hospitality, you understand the expectations of the luxury client.You have a basic understanding of revenue management and a keen attention to detail.Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the Opera property management system.
The Reservations Agent responds to all reservation requests for Rosewood Villa Magna in an engaging manner with the aim of converting each request into a confirmed booking using the selling strategy set by the hotel. The role is responsible for ensuring all necessary paperwork and administration is in place for each reservation taken and information is updated accurately in the property management system.
