Position: Ruby on Rails Architect

Role Overview: They are looking for a Ruby on Rails Architect to help scale their globally expanding AI platform that powers premium closed captioning, transcription, live captioning, audio description, and localization solutions. As a Ruby on Rails Architect, you will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing backend systems, working closely with the product and engineering teams to build reliable, scalable solutions for their diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Ruby to support the AI-powered platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and AI specialists, to deliver high-quality solutions. Contribute to improving the platform’s performance, stability, and security. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of new features. Work with a focus on accessibility, ensuring that services meet the highest standards of inclusion and compliance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Architect with a strong background in Ruby development. Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks. Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and database systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for developing technology that makes a difference, especially in accessibility. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
