Route Accounting Clerk
Job Title: Route Accounting ClerkJob Description The Route Accounting Clerk is responsible for data entry and auditing of route drivers’ sales receipts. This role involves extensive use of ten-key calculators and computers. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently and is comfortable with detailed numerical work. Responsibilities + Perform data entry and audit route drivers’ sales receipts. + Operate ten-key calculators and perform computer-based data entry. + Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. + Coordinate activities with other departments and supervisors. + Maintain a good telephone voice and a pleasant disposition. Essential Skills + Proficiency in 10-key calculators. + 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Invoicing. + Strong data entry skills. + Experience with spreadsheets, including Excel and Google Sheets. + Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in Food & Beverage distribution is a plus. + Enjoys working with numbers. + Audit and dispatch experience. Work Environment The work hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, in an office environment. The office is shared with one other coordinator. Occasionally, Saturday work may be available. The office environment is smaller with tight physical quarters, fostering a tight-knit, cohesive team. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
