"TRS Staffing Solutions has an opportunity for a ROTATING EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST who will be responsible for the overall performance of the Rotating Equipment Program for our International Client's Project team based in the EQUATORIAL GUINEA.”

JOB DESCRIPTION: Develops long term plans for rotating equipment monitoring, inspections, repairs, and turnarounds/outages. Plans, coordinates, selects work force, oversees, and follows up with the inspections and repairs of rotating equipment removed during turnarounds/outages. Plans and requisitions all spare parts and other materials required to carry out effective maintenance and repair activities. Supervises various construction projects as directed by the Mechanical Superintendent. Ensures that proper repair procedures are followed and that all documentation is completed and filed appropriately. Ensures delivery of spare parts is being staged ahead of time for upcoming work and coordinates the return for inspection and repairs of repairable parts.  Responsible for all aspects of Mechanical technician’s performance including recognizing and reinforcing good performance and confronting and correcting poor performance. Ensures safe working methods and practices within all work areas in order to avoid accident or injury.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Accredited Degree / Diploma in related field or relevant experience. 15 to 20 years related experience in Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industry. A strong background in major inspections of turbines and compressors is essential to the role. Experience with Solar turbines and GE and Mitsubishi equipment is essential to the role. Must possess and demonstrate a safety Management program as well as an excellent understanding of all Environment and safety policies throughout Client Operations. A strong knowledge of the operation and maintenance of the Rotating Equipment is essential. A strong background in major inspections of turbines and compressors is essential to the role. Should be prepared to work unconventional hours, as they must be on call for Mechanical emergencies. Computer Skills: MS Office Suite, SAP, Maximo, MS Project. ________________________________________
