Rotating Equipment Engineer

Client is looking for Rotating Equipment Engineer

Requirements/Qualification:
• Minimum BSc in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in rotating equipment engineering within Engineering Contractor(s) or End-users
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards such as API, ASME, ISO and PIP
• Knowledge of engineering design
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to
management, coworkers, clients, suppliers, contractors, and visitors
• Motivate teams and connect with people from varies cultural backgrounds
• Flexible and willing to travel to site as required
• Willingness to work on multiple small project scopes, in various teams, in parallel
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
• Certified in OSH by Ministry of HRSD
• GCC Experience working with renowned Client.

Responsibilities:
Rotating engineer having a proven track record in major Energy & Chemical projects
• Professional background working on turbo-machinery/ rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, fans/ blowers, etc.)
• Able to co-ordinate with Client and Process to finalize suitable turbo machinery.
• Preparation of mechanical data sheets, material requisitions for inquiry & purchase
• Preparation & review of technical evaluation of supplier bids
• Review of supplier documents to ensure compliance with specifications and project requirements.
• Attend supplier meetings & resolve technical issues related to design & manufacturing
• Coordinate/ interface with other disciplines to align on all the interfaces.
• Liaison with other engineering disciplines for the integration of rotating equipment into overall plant design.
• Support engineering design reviews for P&ID, Plot Plan, HAZOP, Model Review, Value Engineering, Constructability, etc.
• Support the development of proposals, estimates, and schedule for new project opportunities.
• Able to perform adequacy check of existing rotating equipment as per the requirements.
• Candidate should have strong knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
• Worked with well-known EPC Companies on Brownfield, Pre-FEED, FEED and EPC Projects.
