Room Service Assistant Manager

The Room Service Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the in-room dining service, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and adherence to hotel service standards. Reporting to the All Day Dining Manager, this role plays a key part in delivering exceptional room service experiences while managing staff, optimizing workflows, and maintaining quality and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:Operational ManagementSupervise and coordinate all aspects of the in-room dining service, ensuring timely and accurate order delivery.Assist in developing and implementing service procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.Monitor order-taking, preparation, and delivery processes to uphold quality and presentation standards.Oversee the handling of special requests, dietary requirements, and VIP amenities.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.Guest Experience Service ExcellenceMaintain a guest-centric approach by ensuring prompt and professional service at all times.Address guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns, taking prompt action to resolve issues.Gather guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance service offerings.Collaborate with the All Day Dining Manager to introduce new menu items and promotions.Team Leadership TrainingLead, motivate, and train the in-room dining team to uphold service excellence.Conduct regular briefings and training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable about menu items, allergens, and service etiquette.Assist with staff scheduling, task assignments, and performance evaluations.Support a positive work environment that fosters teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.Financial Inventory ManagementAssist in monitoring room service sales, costs, and profitability.Work with the All Day Dining Manager to control expenses and minimize waste.Oversee stock levels of in-room dining supplies and coordinate with procurement to ensure availability.Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure proper storage and handling of food and beverage items.
