Location Description The Hotel Indigo Cleveland Gateway boasts 143 guest-rooms and suites, over 2,400 square feet of meeting space and two outlets including our signature restaurant! Overview The Hotel Indigo in downtown Cleveland is looking for Room Attendants to join the team! Essential functions of the job include: Cleans and returns vacant dirty rooms to a clean status. Cleaning includes: light fixtures, ceilings and vents, walls, furniture, windows and window coverings, floors and carpets, changing linens and replenishing amenities. Stay over service to be completed for all rooms daily. Keep cart stocked and organized. Assist with special cleaning projects and with laundry as needed. Communicate maintenance needs. Ability to interact with guests in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner. Report any guest complaints to a supervisor immediately. The timely report of and return of lost and found items for processing. Follow all key control procedures. Performs all other duties as deemed necessary by management. Qualifications Able to carry and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Attention to detail. Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the shift worked.
