Basic Job Functions:

The responsibilities of a Process Engineer at Nucor may include but are not limited to developing and optimizing operational processes, procedures, and product development, leading quality improvement efforts/minimizing variability in the steelmaking process, and providing training to operating personnel.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, Nucor Steel Brandenburg will not sponsor the need for a visa nocor in the future.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in leadership and/or technical role in metals manufacturing. Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Material Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering. Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical peers.
• Experience in Data Science and Business analytics
