We are looking for a **Roll Off Driver** to join our team at our hauling site in **Monroe, LA** . This position is very physical and requires you to work outside in all weather conditions. + A typical schedule is Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday's. 5:30 a.m. start time, working 10-11 hours a day. + Starting pay is $21/hr. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Ability to safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solidwaste.Wasteexperience _preferred_ , but not required. + Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher. + Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids,safetyequipment, and tires. + Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers. + Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose oftrashat designated facilities. + Courteousinteraction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. **Requirements:** + Class A or B Commercial Drivers License. + Clean driving record. + Minimum 1 year of experience driving Roll Off. **Why work for Waste Connections?** + Competitive Compensation + Yearly Boot Stipend + Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits + Matching 401(K) + Stable year-round work! _Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
