POSITION OBJECTIVE

\n\nThe Robotic Engineer objective is to assure project execution is made complying with the scope and quality standards defined. Will support and execute projects related to automation, control architecture and robotics. Also act as the expert on Robotic, control and electronics Engineering field supporting the decision making process for the project team and other stakeholders.\n\n

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nPrioritize all H&S requirements and standards (national, coorporate and international always choosing the must rigorous one) on his or her designs, executions and installations.\nSourcing and procurement of equipment related to robotic, automation, control and electronics.\nConceptualize, design and select robotic, control and electronic equipment to reach the project scope, budget and quality.\nLead FAT and site tests for robotics, control and electronic portions of equipments or projects.\nLead and assure installation of new equipments related to robotics, control and electronics are done properly and complying with the scope and quality defined.\nWork in conjunction with the Manufacturing Automation & Technologies team in Valcourt to develop new ways and technologies to implement in BRP Qro and/or BRP Mexico facilities.\nDesign and program accurate simulations for the different equipments that apply in order to support the decision making process.\nAssure a flawless and well documented transfer of the equipments and services to the final costumer (i.e but not limited to maintenance, production, RAM, IE, IM).\nAny other duties or responsibilities agreed between the Sr. Robotic Engineer and the Project Coordinator.\nFollow BRP values and behaviors.\nEnsure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics.\nEnforce Quality BRP policy.\n\n

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

\n\nProject and budget management \nEnglish\nControl and Electronic systems \nRobotic, Pneumatics, Hydraulics and automation knowledge preferred.\nProgramming skills for robotic equipment and PLC \nSafety Standard knowledge (OSHA, RIA)\n\n

Education:

\n\nBachelor’s degree in Robotic / control engineering or similar\n\n

Experience:

\n\nMin. 5 years in similar role.\n\n

Language:

\n\nFluent in Spanish  written and verbal.\nEnglish written and verbal (Min: 80%).\nKnowledge of French or German is an advantage\n\n
